This program also benefits people looking to build a career in mediation for family, workplace, or civil disputes. Leaders, managers, and coaches use this training to enhance their conflict coaching skills.
Professional Applications

What You Need to Graduate
This is a 20-credit program of 15 required course credits (9 courses and a final assessment) and five elective credits.
Program Format
- Continuous enrollment (enroll in courses when it suits your schedule).
- Take individual courses or work towards the completion of the certificate.
- Face-to-face and online delivery options.
- Most courses are one to five days long and run between 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
- Some courses require students to be enrolled in the program to register. These restrictions are noted in the course description.
- 爱豆传媒 guidelines recommend that students complete program requirements within four years to remain current in their learning and practice.

Q: What if I just want to take a few courses - not the entire program?
You may take individual courses without program enrollment.
Some courses are restricted to program students only or have prerequisites. Please see the Program Pre-requisite Map to learn which courses require program enrollment and contact conres@jibc.ca if you need an exception.
Q: How long do I have to complete the program requirements?
We recommend you complete the program requirements within four years of registration to keep your learning current before your final assessment. See Program Completion and Credentials policy. If you require more time than the four-year guidelines, please contact conres@jibc.ca.
Q: I鈥檝e completed the Certificate in Collaborative Conflict Resolution. How should I list my credentials?
When you complete and have been awarded your Certificate in Collaborative Conflict Resolution, it would be appropriate to record that as: Cert. ConRes in email signatures, business cards, LinkedIn profiles, etc. (see faculty biographies for examples).
Q: Do I have to register and pay for all certificate courses at once?
No, students may register and pay for the courses as they go.
Q: Is there a discount for paying all at once?
No, the program costs are the same regardless of payment schedule.
Q: The course offering I want is full. What can I do?
Contact conres@jibc.ca to be put on a waitlist for your preferred class delivery. Empty seats are filled on a first-come-first-served basis.
Check upcoming courses on the course calendar for available seats, especially in the 10 days leading up to the class start date. You will not be able to register for a class after 8:30 AM on the first day of class.
Q: I have relevant education or experience, can I waive some courses?
If you do not have the prerequisites for a specific course but you have applicable education or experience, apply for a course requisite waiver: Requisite Waiver Request Form.

Q: I need receipts for my employer or to submit taxes. Where do I get them?
Go to myjibc.ca and log into the Student Self-Service portal with your 爱豆传媒 login and password. In the left-hand menu bar, click on financial information to print a receipt. You can also download applicable tax receipts; See Tax Receipts for details.
Q: I took a course online, how do I get a hard copy of the manual?
Print the manual from the online Learning Portal, or contact conres@jibc.ca. Some manuals are available for purchase, exclusively for students who were enrolled in the course.
Q: What kind of career does the Certificate in Collaborative Conflict Resolution prepare me for?
