Students must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in Canada. They may also apply if they have an equal credential from a recognized institution outside of Canada.
Program Strengths
Study in the same place as police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and emergency managers. Succeed in the program with one-on-one attention from instructors.
When you enroll in this program, you will learn about the Canadian justice system. You will also gain skills in leadership, management, and law enforcement.

What You Need to Graduate
You must complete all 60 credits (20 courses) of the program at a rate of five courses per semester.

Course manuals are supplied when you attend class. If additional books or other materials are required, we will let you know when you are accepted into the program. Textbooks & other materials cost approximately $750.00.

To be eligible for this program, students are required to:
- Provide proof of completion of a bachelor’s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in Canada or an equivalent credential from a recognized institution outside Canada. Credentials from non-Canadian institutions may be required to be evaluated by an external organization such as or . Any related costs for this assessment are your responsibility.
- Meet °®¶¹´«Ã½â€™s English language proficiency requirements if your undergraduate studies were completed in a language other than English. The minimum requirements are outlined on the English Requirements for International Students page.

Q: What are the employment opportunities for graduates?
A: There is a reasonable level of competition for employment in the broad field of law enforcement. Our graduates are well-prepared and qualified to seek employment in a range of law enforcement, regulatory and compliance fields. Those who pursue a law enforcement career are making a difference in a variety of organizations. Completion of the program does not guarantee entry into a law enforcement profession.

Employers may need other qualifications and training. Even so, completing this program can prepare you for such employment.
Q: What is the course schedule for this program? What days and times are the courses?
A: The course schedule for each intake will differ. Generally, students will have one or two courses in one day. Morning courses run from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Afternoon courses run from 1:00 pm -4:00 pm.

Year 1
After completing Term 2, students will have a scheduled term break before resuming classes for terms 3 and 4.
