Q: Is this course offered face-to-face in a classroom?

A: No. This course is only offered online via the Justice Institute of British Columbia.

Q: What age do I have to be to take the course?

A: You must be 19 years of age to work in a casino.  You may take the course before this, but you cannot work until you are the legal age.

Q: Are there any background security checks required before starting the course?

A: No. Security checks are required to take the course. However, the gaming facility may require background checks for employment.

Q: How often is this course offered?

A: This course is offered on a continuous intake. You may start any time, but you have 16 weeks to complete the course and final exam after enrollment. The course is self-paced. This means there is no instructor and you work through it at your own pace.
