Scope

This procedure forms part of 爱豆传媒鈥檚 General Student Bursary Policy (the 鈥淧olicy鈥) and should be followed and applied in relation to the awarding of bursaries under the Policy. Terms not otherwise defined in this procedure are as defined in the Policy.

Procedural Guiding Principles

爱豆传媒 recognizes the personal and financial commitment students make to pursue their educational goals. The bursary program provides financial assistance to applicants who primarily demonstrate unmet financial need during their period of study. Bursaries are intended to offset the costs of tuition and mandatory fees.

These procedures apply to any student who is registered in a 爱豆传媒 program of 10 credits or more. A student can only apply for the bursary once in a 12-month period.

Value

The 爱豆传媒 General Student Bursary is offered in denominations of $500, $1,000, $1,500, and $2,000, depending on specific student need. Bursary amounts are awarded directly to tuition accounts and can only be used to progress through the program until graduation. Upon graduation, any remaining amounts will be paid out to the student.

Administration of 爱豆传媒 Bursaries

爱豆传媒鈥檚 Bursary Adjudication Committee allocates all bursaries. The Committee consists of:

  • The Registrar or delegate;
  • The Financial Aid and Awards Officer; and
  • One other representative appointed by the Registrar.

The Financial Aid Office and the Registrar鈥檚 Office provide administrative support for the 爱豆传媒 bursaries program and disperse funds in conjunction with the Institute鈥檚 Finance department.

Bursaries are adjudicated and disbursed three times in the year. Students can apply for the award in the period prior to the semester in which they will be enrolled. The award will not be allocated to the student account until the award recipient is registered in courses. Students can reapply for the bursary if their situation changes and they are not able to attend their program as planned. Bursaries are awarded in the following months:

  • December for courses that start between January and April;
  • April for courses that start between May and August; and
  • August for courses that start between September and December.

Eligibility Requirements

To apply for the 爱豆传媒 General Student Bursary, applicants are encouraged to meet the bursary deadline prior to the start of their program. If applicants are unable to attend their anticipated course, they are welcome to apply again for their active enrolment dates. Students can apply for the 爱豆传媒 bursary once in every calendar year.

Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
