The Search and Rescue (SAR) Rope Rescue Transition Workshop is being offered on a limited time basis for existing SAR Rope Rescue personnel in order to bridge their existing Team Member or Leader certification with the new Emergency Management British Columbia (EMBC) curriculum introduced in 2017. This workshop will review new content introduced through the EMBC SAR Rope Rescue Manual {2017), such as mechanics of rope rescue, changes to anchor systems, rope tailings, dual capacity two tensioned rope system, and improvements to command and communication practices .
